Operations platform

WeDriveCars

A UK vehicle-movement product. The public site presents tracked delivery, and UCOS as the system of record for business logistics.

Challenge

A vehicle move involves several parties, a time-sensitive assignment, physical evidence and sometimes a disputed handover. The operational record is easy to split across calls, messages and spreadsheets.

Approach

WeDriveCars uses UCOS so each movement can be followed from quote and booking through the driver workflow, transit, handover and evidence. The public pages describe that system. This case study does not publish driver counts, revenue or prices.

What was built

  • A public booking path: request a quote, confirm the move, track it, and complete a structured handover.
  • UCOS, described on the live site as the system of record for quoting, job management, driver workflow, live journey status, handover confirmation, evidence and an audit trail.
  • A business path for dealerships, auctions, fleets and garages, including a white-label direction for running movements under the customer’s brand.
  • Public driver-standard copy covers DBS and DVLA checks and insured movement workflows. The site’s customer rating and its prices are not repeated here.

Scope

  • Movement bookings
  • Driver workflow
  • Live tracking
  • Handover and evidence

The project record does not name a public technology stack, so none is listed.

What was delivered

The public product shows a tracked vehicle-movement service and a business system of record. Funding, driver counts and revenue targets are not part of this page.
